In October we held a garage sale to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina. We collected donations from our families, spent several hours organizing it all, then worked all day on a Saturday to sell it. We raised over $300. We bought Walmart gift cards and sent them to a Girl Scout council in the gulf area to distribute to those in need.
